Riverdale Orchard and Cidery

The first cidery when entering PEI from the Confederation Bridge! It’s about 20 minutes outside of Charlottetown and made by 2 Scots and hence the name. A very light cider with a little bit of effervescent on the tongue and no additives, you’re just getting the apples! The winter and tropical ones were the fav of the bunch. Just a lovely couple and the stories behind how they landed here was just dandy of a different era colluding with the present.

First off, the cider is delicious. We tried the flight and walked sour with a few bottles. Lovely outdoor space; massive fire pit, too! We are bummed we missed the Guy Fawkes party. Part of the wine/cider loop. Lots of fun.

The sun was shining as we sat on the deck looking out over the orchards and learning about the wonderful cider produced here. In addition we also learned about the power of opportunity as Anne shared some of her story with us, too. The cider was so much better than the cider I'm used to buying at home, so we bought several bottles, of each kind available, to bring home with us. Oh, and the cookies were delicious too.

Such a wonderful place!! I would highly recommend coming here if you are visiting PEI. The ciders are delicious and the grounds are stunning. Additionally the staff are so lovely. I would give more stars if I could! 10/10 experience

Great experience when visiting this Orchard & Cidery. Love their hard ciders! The food is delicious and the owners are authentic, and sweet!
