“Howatt's is such a cute little gas station, it's locally owned and operated by the Howatt family and they're honestly the sweetest! Always feel welcome when going in there, and it's our favorite place around Borden to get gas because it isn't as packed as Ceretti's Grocery & the Esso. Definitely feel safer going to this gas station during covid! P.s. They literally have the cutest & cleanest restroom!”

“Visited here for a mandatory covid test while returning to PEI. I'm happy to follow the rules as they stand, but in reality I'm a bit grumpy about both being fully vaccinated for weeks and having had a negative test before coming into the country, and then having to do another at the USA-Canada border, and then this third test 5 hours later l. All these tests within 3 days, and isix tests total during mandatory 14 day quarantine! it's not for me to say, but it seems a little excessive. Having said all that - The people and this test site were outstanding. Super nice and friendly. Thumbs up for making it a nice overall experience.”

“Quiet, seaside atmosphere. Food is pricey. Had the Lobster Roll with sweet potato fries; wasn’t large pieces of lobster, it was quite broken up, and could’ve used more sauce, it was slightly dry. Fries with chipotle dip were very tasty though.”

“So, we bought some local beer to try on your summer vacation, a six pack of Fixed Link. Lovely flavour but a funny consistency - I emailed the brewery and they got back to me within 10min and explained the issue (which was minor) and also insisted on delivering two new six packs to us at our cottage. Obviously they take a lot of pride in their beer. Will be enjoying other from this brewery also! Highly recommend.”

“Just great delicious ice cream in a wonderful waffle cone. A PEI icon! This location is unfortunately next to a subway which overpowers the normally delightful scent of the waffle cones but that's pretty minor. It also includes a huge selection of classic Cows t-shirts and other merchandise.”
