Check in was nice, friendly staff, great location, clean, fantastic for ⛺ and beautiful scenery.
The washrooms/showers needs improvement... We were there for 3 nights and could only stand the showers for the first 2 nights because my body could not stand cold showers nor to wash your face and hands 🥶
Just a suggestion:
please close doors when entering and exiting the 🚻
Very friendly and welcoming! Beautiful view and great for the kids!
Check in was great. Fantastic location.
Security needs a lot of improvement… first of all use a golf cart “if” you need to travel around the campground. A truck constantly driving around is NOT SAFE for campers, adds extra expense, he’s stopped in the customers way a lot, and it just makes no sense at all when there are golf carts to be used. They have worked for many many years at many campgrounds. Plus he needs to stay out of peoples personal business. He’s too nosey and worried about things that aren’t his “security” concern. Meanwhile he’s so busy being in everyone’s face (before quiet time) that there is no one at the gate doing the security job! From what we saw, and we could very well from our site… anyone can drive in the campground once that security truck comes on duty. Before the truck/night security came on duty… they were stopping cars coming in and doing the security job properly. But at night it did not exist. And why is he sending kids away from the kids play areas and telling them to go to their own site before curfew? Isn’t that the reason for a curfew? Weren’t those areas put in place for kids and families to have fun while camping?
To summarize… Everything else was great… except the night security is not doing what we would consider a campground security job.
Great experience here - friendly staff and a great location that’s close to everything. We had a lovely site by the water and our daughter had a ball at the playground and in the pool. Thanks for a great stay!
This was our first time staying here and I have to say that we absolutely loved it. It was in a perfect location, close to Charlottetown, close to the beach. We brought our toy hauler and motorbikes , our lot ( 813) was a perfect size for our 40 foot camper. The campground is beautiful, clean and very well maintained. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been to. We will definitely be back in fact I would love to come back and stay for a week!
Thank you for this little Jem of a place ! Sincerely Peggy Corkum.
