Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC)

Last Sunday we had to bring our 17 year old dog Bowie to the emergency vet after noticing that he had fallen ill suddenly. The staff at the AVC animal hospital were kind, patient and respectful while guiding us through the process of a peaceful euthanasia. My husband was out of the country and Dr. Thibault and her aid Jill allowed him to join via FaceTime to explain the situation to everyone as a family and eventually say a proper good-bye to our beloved. The process was obviously stressful and I was feeling quite lost but the team made it way less painlful than I had been dreading. They cared about Bowie and empathized greatly throughout our time there right up until his final breath.

The staff at the small animal hospital were amazing. They were very thorough with my dogs surgery process. They didn't mind answering my questions or when I called my husband and asked them to tell him some of the info. I traveled from out of province to take my dog to them and it was the best decision!! I highly recommend them.

Both times I've brought my cats in for urgent situations, I've had the utmost confidence that they were being taken care of with the best care. The vet techs and vets that I've met have all been smart, compassionate, friendly, and so kind with my animals. Love living so close to such a wonderful animal hospital.
