"In memory of those who lost their lives in training while serving under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan"
During WW2 there was an air training base/airport on this site.

Large rig parking for three or four RVs.
Highly recommend stopping.

Helped me with finding campsites and gave me fantastic directions for a beautiful drive on the coast. A wonderful service to the traveler!
