Living fine at the Pines!

My mother, boyfriend, and I recently enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway at The Pines Cottages and Motel in Rustico, Prince Edward Island. We opted for one of their charming cottages, complete with two bedrooms, a cozy living room, a well-appointed bathroom, and a spacious deck featuring a barbecue – it was the perfect retreat.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with prompt and professional service, making us feel welcomed with open arms. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the lovely heated pool, which we enjoyed each evening during our visit. It added an extra layer of relaxation to our trip.

On our last night, we fired up the barbecue and grilled some steaks, and I must say they were absolutely delicious. The property also boasts ample space for our family dog to roam and have a blast.

The icing on the cake was the breathtaking ocean view that we had the pleasure of enjoying. Plus, we were conveniently located close to all the amenities we needed.

The only minor detail to note is that they don't provide toiletries in the rooms, which was a bit surprising. However, it didn't detract from our overall positive experience at The Pines Cottages and Motel.

In summary, this place deserves nothing less than a glowing review. It's an idyllic getaway spot with top-notch service, a great pool, and wonderful accommodations. We'll definitely be returning for more memorable weekends like this one.

I am from the Island and away for many years. I stumbled across this wonderful spot for my last night on the an island and it reminded me of all the beautiful things PEI has to offer. Stunning scenery, beautiful kind people, and an amazing experience. Larry went above and beyond to ensure my stay was absolutely perfection. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in the past and they do not even come close to this experience. Thank you Larry and the pines motel and cottages. I will be back.

Everything about this place deserves 10 stars.

My family of 4 stayed in a cottage, on a little slice of Paradise. Our deck overlooked the most serene river, I enjoyed watching while cooking on the deck, not even bothered by mosquitoes.

The owner was truly happy to help with every interaction we had. The staff always had a smile, eager to help making the stay even more memorable.

The cottage was about 30 minutes from Charlottetown, 10 from North Rustico, and maybe 20 from Cavendish.

North Rustico was a peaceful village with incredibly friendly people employed at the local stores. Adding to 'the pines' location.

The beds were comfortable, the shower had great pressure.

The kitchenette had everything we needed.

The price, was amazing, I have staid in more expensive hotel, which were not nearly as nice.

We just came back from our one week stay in the cottages. Loved it so much and would definitely love to return! As previously mentioned by most reviewers, the owner Larry went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of amazing. We experienced a few internet connection issues on the first day and Larry had the issues resolved immediately. I loved the rustic feel of the cottage and the views from the deck were breathtaking. The kids loved spending the majority of time in the spotless pool. We also spent one night in the newly renovated motel room, which was so cozy and clean. I hope to return again, I’ve got my eye on that suite!

Staff were so kind and welcoming! Room was clean, with updated flooring, decor and paint. Very comfortable bed! Location was close to Cavendish beach, just a quick 15 min drive. They even offer you beach towels to take with you to the ocean or the pool they have there at the motel. Definitely recommend staying here.
