West Point Beach House

what an absolute beautiful location. It's right on the beach. we went here as it is one of the last few lighthouses we haven't been to on the island. I didn't realize it was a motel as well and can not wait to go back to spend some time here once open in for the season.

This was our first stay on this side of the island. The cottage is close to the docks & great to see 🦞 setting day & enjoyed fresh caught lobster. Cottage was great, loved the screened in veranda. Day 1 was a heat wave & some oscillating fans would have helped cool the rooms in the absence of AC. The other days were much cooler and it was fine. Great firm mattress and all linens provided. Met some lovely neighbours who kindly gave us some salt and pepper when we showed up on their doorstep 😊. Cedar beach just a short walk away and a lovely craft store across the street introduced us to the delicious mustard pickles!
Highly recommend if you want to live like a local

We spent a week at the Beach House at the end of July 2020. The home is well equipped and spacious. We lived the lower and upper decks taking advantage of the sun and harbour views. This home provided access to the lighthouse, West Point and it’s beautiful beach. Our pups enjoyed it so much. We took some nice coastal drives along the North and south shores. There was sufficient room so that our mother and a friend (both in their 80’s) came by and spent a night. They loved the sunset from the upper deck. We both highly recommend this beach house. James and Maggie were both very helpful.
