Baker Shore Bed and Breakfast

From the moment we walked in to this gorgeous home, we were overwhelmed by the warm welcome we were greeted with from Lynne and Darryl! We were pleased with how well they exercised Covid precautions, and yet made you feel at ease with how they shared their home. The attention to detail was over the top, and the breakfast was amazing every day!. Their home was absolutely spotless and stunning!They went over and beyond to make sure we needed for nothing! We had planned out some sightseeing, but once Lynne and Darryl gave us a few of their favourite places to visit, we realized we would have missed the best sights to see! They were so helpful with suggestions, and everything was more than perfect ❤️ The B&B is more like you are visiting with friends, not just a place to stay! We will definitely stay with them again in our home away from home next time we visit PEI! Thank you for everything!💕

Cleanliness and exceptional lunch. Hosts don't want a that's ok when they ask if everything is ok ... they want a it's perfect. That's what they are aiming for.

I can’t recommend Baker Shore B&B highly enough. It started before we even left home when Lynne herself called to inquire about food allergies and preferences, and to get a feel for what we hoped to do while visiting PEI. I received a couple of emails with ideas, links, and recommendations that fit our plans. Upon our arrival, we found our rooms to be very cozy and beautifully decorated, including many local touches. Lynne and Darrel were eager hosts and welcomed us as though they’ve known us for years-they made us feel very much at home. Though Lynne and Darrel are relatively new to PEI, they are very knowledgeable about what is going on, and where to go for a great dinner. We qualified for the Island Tourism card, which we found included in our welcome packages, and provided an opportunity for some great meals!
Speaking of great meals, Darrel’s breakfasts were incredible! Each evening, we were given the menu for the following morning (different from the previous day), giving us choices in their offerings. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. No-one went hungry!
Throughout our stay, Lynne shared her favourite places to see iconic sights and provided directions and visitor information-we found ourselves loving those sights as well!
If you are looking for a clean, friendly, quiet place to stay on the island, Baker Shore B&B is the place!

An absolute gem of a find! Just a short distance from the downtown core of Summerside, PEI this unassuming spot was absolutely the perfect spot to isolate.
Upon arrival, you are directed to your room where you will find a well laid out, spacious accommodation with an ensuite bathroom. A welcome letter is provided with all the rules regarding the B & B as well as CPHO rules about isolation.
The internet (Wi-Fi) was very good. The speed was sufficient that I was able to maintain connection with Teams without interruption. Although cable nor satellite were options, the Roku TV did provide the options for Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.
The hosts, Lynne and Darrell, were the most gracious, kind, caring people ever. They made sure that I had all the amenities needed to isolate for 2 weeks. Coffee, tea, water, breakfast, and supper (an extra charge). I did not want for anything. Extra treats left at the door, and personal shopping provided if needed. Just a note to add, even though food had to be plated on paper plates, the presentation was amazing and the food delicious.
The care and detail that went into preparing my room did not go unnoticed. Extra towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies were all provided. Tassimo, kettle, and microwave were all available in the room as well as utensils, paper towel, and dishes. Safety items such as hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes were readily available. Laundry services were provided as well as the option for personal shopping. Nothing was forgotten, making this unwanted “vacation” something that I was able to enjoy.
