It's a nice place to bring a group of people. The cabins are nice and clean. Close to morin heights. The cabin we were in had a huge brand new smart TV, so it made the nights If I had to criticize (this is nitpicky) the beds are not very comfortable, it is a different experience in each cabin so it is hard to know ahead of time. The recreational area could be expanded a bit, It fills up quick. Overall it is a really nice experience.
Beautiful chalets, nice amenities at the main resort including indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, games room, etc. The kids loved stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, and swimming off the dock. The hot tub at our chalet overlooking the lake was very relaxing.
The place was tidy and the location was nice. We booked a deer cottage for a weekend and we were really looking forward to the sauna and jacuzzi, which is clearly and prominently advertised on their website. Unfortunately when we went to try the sauna we realized that it was not working. We called the front desk and they sent someone to take a look but the person apparently couldn't do anything about it. The ice machine was also broken, the phone line was not working, and the toaster had to be held manually. These many issues makes me think that their maintenance system isn't great. I would be careful to call and ask if all of the amenities are functional before booking a place. For the price we paid (which was quite significant), we were kind of expecting more.
EDIT: For the sake of transparency, the management did call me to follow up and offer a credit for the inconveniences.
Clean rooms and resort, a bit dated, but good for large groups (currently staying in #17 right beside the reception, and pools). We are 12 people.
Layout needs more thought: There are 6 rooms and 3 bathrooms, of which 2 bathrooms are en suite, and only ONE bathroom for 4 other rooms to share.
Specifically: 4 rooms upstairs, two have ensuite bathrooms, BUT people staying in the other two rooms upstairs need to walk downstairs to use a common bathroom that’s shared with the other two rooms on the main floor.
Billiard table is on the second floor, and there are no chairs, there are no hooks for towels or things inside the rooms, there is only one hook inside the common bathroom downstairs (what do we do with wet towels?)
Also the kitchen is BARE: No salt, pepper, dish sponge, dish soap. ONE roll of paper towel.
So, I suggest if you’re staying here, pack everything in your kitchen!!
Great place to go with a group. Nice recreation centre and close to some really quaint towns with lots to do (hiking, ski hills). Friendly and helpful staff with technicians available to fix anything. Fully furnished homes with lots of extra items depending on the model. Gated community. You won't be disappointed.
