Easter weekend, went last Saturday, this place is awesome, great history, smart and kind guide, went went back and forth in French and English, the cafe anselme is great for lunch, mont arthabaska and st chris church in the neighbor hood are cool to see. Go here if you go to Victoriaville. Very charming town, I loved the visit. #tousvoltigeurs

Cool place to visit. Great tour guide

This was the Victorian home of Laurier before he moved to Ottawa. He was the first French Canadian to become Prime Minister, a Liberal, who governed during the time of the western expansion and construction of railroads, and immigration. Free, or for a small fee a guide will give you a tour. A great restoration of the interior, exterior, furniture, wall coverings and books, with informative descriptions.
