We spent two nights here. The campground is clean and very well maintained. The laundry room is big and very clean. The washrooms and showers appeared clean but I used the facilities in my trailer. There are a lot of seasonal campers but they have a few spots for overnight or short stays. There is a clean playground and heated swimming pool on the premises too. A very good value for the money as it is close to everything. Management, unfortunately, speaks limited English but we got by with my broken French.
A Christmas castle is directly across the street and their boutique is filled with beautiful Christmas items.
The campground is located conveniently near the ferry crossing. They do have full hook up sites. Very narrow sites however. Our slide was touching the neighbours awning. In the larger pull thru sites.
Unfortunately, it rained while we were here and there drainage is not great. Had to walk in 3-4" of water while disconnecting in the a.m. It feels like they crammed to many sites in here. Small pool and play area for children.
Views of the town across are ok. There is a sad defunct looking Santa 🎅 village across the street.
All I can say is WOW!!!! We stopped for the night on our way to Nova Scotia, the park is very well maintained and clean! There is ample room between sites and you don’t feel cramped. They have proper garbage and recycling, the bathrooms are clean and have laundry and showers. There is a sink outside the bathroom for doing dishes. The bathrooms are co-ed there are individual stalls so don’t that throw you off. The pools are small but awesome and there is a splash pad with water slides for the kids. The playground is great too.
We will definitely will be back and we’d like to spend at least a week checking out the Riviere du Loup area.
Thank you to our hosts! See you again!
Very small, cramped camping sites, ours was a bit bigger than our picnic table for the grass area. Nowhere to walk dogs since all the grass was mostly occupied by sites. Nice splash pad for kids, shuffle boards and lawn bowling areas. The park is very clean and quiet. Herb gardens for the visitors to cook with, staff is friendly and bilingual. Ok for quick overnight stop. Close to town, and st Lawrence for touristing.. recommend aux boucaneaux restaurant for fantastic seafood ($$$) a little but away.
Stayed here one night. Very friendly and the price was right. Bike pathway close by to cycle to water where the ferry boats come in. Washroom is one big room with stalls, sinks and showers for everyone. I would have preferred male and female rooms separate but all was fine and they were clean. Wifi worked good.
