Moulin Michel De Gentilly

Nous avons célébré notre mariage au moulin. L'endroit est vraiment magnifique, surtout en automne! Les prix sont extrêmement raisonnables et on a eu un excellent service avant et le jour même de l'évènement. Julie a vraiment tout fait pour que nous aillons une belle journée.

Un détail important à ajouter par contre:
Pour ceux qui veulent faire une réception assise aux tables; bien que la capacité de la salle soit de 120 personnes, je conseille de garder votre liste d'invités plus proche de 80. À 106 personnes nous avons été pas mal serrés et notre traiteur nous à donné beaucoup de trouble (nous avons quand même passé une merveilleuse soirée malgrés tout).

This was a reconstructed woolen. They had English tours. The best part was the seeing actual wool processing machines working. Processing the raw wool from local sheep to the knitting of socks was demonstrated. This was a great illustration of our history.

Definitely a nice tiny little attraction on the highway.

On our return drive from Gaspé, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Moulin Michel De Gentilly. The atmosphere is charming with servers dressed in period clothing. The mill is so lovely and what a treat to eat lunch inside this splendid stone structure.
The meal was absolutely delicious and healthy too. The whole grain buckwheat crepes with real maple syrup were scrumptious. The vegetable soup was wonderful and did not leave me thirsty as many other soups do, so likely low in salt. A couscous garnish served with the crepes was such a treat!
With tea and coffee included our lunch total for two was $15.50 before tax and tips. You'll want to tip well as the service is excellent.

You can't beat that. Great service, wonderful setting, unique menu!
We highly recommend this delightful restaurant to anyone travelling the Bécancour area!
