(November 30, 2019, 10:39 pm)Super chic hotel that reminds me of an upscale hostel. I mean that in the kindest way, I would recommend any friend of family member stay here. It's hip, it's stylish, the room we stayed in was quaint and cute and tiny. It had all the furnishings we needed, the mini kitchen is a very nice touch, the proximity to some easy hiking trails and better yet, Balnea, was awesome. Not fancy, but all the right touches. Plus Bromont is right nearby, and that's sweet for anyone outdoorsy folks.

(November 18, 2019, 4:40 am)Ever have a desire to get out of the city onto the open road and land at a friendly place that is just different enough to make the drive worthwhile? By visit to the Beatnik was a weekend escape from an Ottawa that I needed a break from over the summer. Just a couple days - open road and then this place where there were games to play - records to listen to - new people to meet. Love the social atmosphere.
