Very warm and welcoming! A detour is needed for welcoming supporters, great values and experiences. Bravo for your products ... simply charmed!
The best place for Cider in Quebec. They work organically (and naturally) and their products are incredible !! Go for it!
An excellent ice cider. Possibly the best. We go there every time we pass through the area and we are very well served every time. A must.
The proprietors are very friendly and knowledgeable, with a clear passion and dedication to their craft. Everything they do is best in its class. Their trees are all grown from apples carefully selected from feral orchards and this lends everything they make a unique character that sets them completely apart from all other cider producers in the country. Their sparkling cider is particularly exceptional. They steadfastly refuse to use the champagne method, unlike virtually everyone else. The result is a cider that emphasizes the strengths of cider, rather than a simulacrum of wine. Clos Saragnat is the brainchild of the inventor of ice cider, something that has come to be almost universally copied. The imitators would do well to take a closer look at what is happening in Frelighsburgh today.
undoubtedly worth the detour. The owner (sorry I forgot his name) invented the idea of 'Ice Cider'. He lets apples freeze on the tree multiple times, and then in Feb or March presses those fruits while it is still freeezing to only extract the sirup and turns it into a sweet wine. A totally unique experience. I was stunned !
