Bistro La Muse

We dropped by on a quiet weekday evening, had few dishes, one that stood out and must be talked about is the leeks appetizer, after the first bite just wow, and normally I'm pretty jaded about appys, this is our of the norm, it's first texture is fantastic, cooked to perfection really, tender and not mushy, the taste was fantastic, really it's not often I get surprise by a dish but this one really hit....I would go back to the restaurant just for that dish. of course after such a strong opening it was a bit unfair for the entree to follow up such an act....the fish was ok. the pork chop was succulent and cooked to perfection but in the shade of the leeks sadly... if you tryoonlycone thing go for the leeks Appy...you won't regret it...

Wonderful experience for our first night in Baie-Saint-Paul! Modern and clean decor with nice art work. Food is upscale, nice selection with a fair amount of seafood.

Started with fried zucchini flowers, came with a sort of thick creamy sauce like tzatziki but with goat cheese. The lobster tagliatelle was great, nice touch with little mushrooms. Catch of the day was delicate cod with creamy risotto and seasonal vegetables. Finally pouring chômeur for dessert, a traditional cake baked with a maple syrup sauce.

Finally the service was fantastic. Our server was very patient and encouraging with our "try-hard" French, but also had no problem translating and answering questions in English. All in all a very nice dinner and evening.

Great dining experience with delicious food and good service.
