Camping équestre des mines en Charlevoix

We weren't expecting to find such a welcoming campsite like this one! First the owner is a very welcoming and kind person, he gave us a tour of the land showing us all the spots we could choose to place our tent and also he brought us up the mountain to make us visit the lake. The land has incredible views! We had a table, chairs and a fireplace near where we chose to settle. There is a lot of land, you can walk, drive around and also pet the horses. We were able to swim in the river but there are also two lakes for swimming. Honestly it's a beautiful place, surrounded by mountains and also well placed in the village: the convenience store is very well equipped and it's 3 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot too. There is a bathroom, a sink and electrical outlets in a small hut at the reception, take into account that there are no showers but this was not a problem for me and my husband because we took our showers at the Grands Jardins National Park (which is also very close to the campsite). In conclusion, it is a very good campsite with incredible people and we are sure that we will return as soon as possible!

Good morning! This place is really beautiful! Vast, clean campsite with a marvelous view!! Lots of trails for all levels of riders, several water points to drink and refresh the horses! The owners are really caring and cheerful! We spent 4 wonderful days there!! Thank you again, don't hesitate to book, we can only come back happy!!!

An exceptional place where we spent a short stay. All the facilities are perfect not to mention our hosts who were so welcoming. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.
