Auberge musicale Pour un Instant

Nous venons de passer un très bon moment dans ce gîte magnifiquement aménagé et confortable. Angélique est attentive et très disponible, elle nous a mis à l'aise et nous a donné de bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux avec de bonnes crêpes maisons accompagnées de produits locaux.
Nous sommes venus trop tôt pour profiter de l'ambiance musicale, mais cela promet de bons moments pour les prochains touristes.
Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps.

We stayed as a family (2 children) in this magnificent inn during the Easter weekend and have excellent memories of it. The loft is very pleasant with its well-equipped kitchenette and its really comfortable sofa bed. Excellent pancake breakfast prepared by our lovely hosts in the morning. We even took advantage of the super useful and modern gym with brand new equipment at the end of the day. The decoration with its musical touch gives the hostel a very nice artistic atmosphere and it seems that the hostess will soon be giving concerts there…we will come back to listen to that! In short, a nice little authentic inn as we like them run by very warm hosts. We loved it.

My stay at 'Pour un instant' was a real delight. It's the perfect location to enjoy peace and quiet, sweeping panoramas of the St-Laurent and access to some of the best mountains in Quebec (grands jardins, hautes gorges de la rivière malbaie and tadoussac are all accessible from the inn)! Add to that the fact that you're staying in a real ancestral home with beautifully preserved architectural details AND all the modern comforts you could desire (and that bed was SO comfortable). The breakfast was incredible and there are gluten-free options! Our host took the time to tell me about how she cleans her equipment for gluten-free guests and answered all of my questions about cross-contamination. And finally... the hot tub with a view on the river was the perfect way to end a long day of hiking!

A great stay at this hostel! We slept in the room "on my shoulder" which is very large and comfortable, with private bathroom, sofa, fridge and microwave, a separate entrance and the spa just a stone's throw away, really appreciated after a hike! The host couple is very warm, welcoming and attentive while remaining discreet. The breakfast is delicious with products from the region, the inn itself has a lot of charm and has been renovated under a musical theme honoring Quebec artists, I discovered a lot of things! Highly recommend a stop at this hostel if you are visiting the area!

The hosts and new owners, Angélique and Gérald, gave us a very warm welcome, the location is superb, the inn has been renovated with great taste. Bravo!

Our room was very clean, quiet, comfortable and well equipped with coffee/tea, private bathroom. We had access to a semi-private lounge. All customers have access to the spa, the fitness area, the library lounge (fireplace)

Breakfast included, savory or sweet crepe, all homemade with delicious local products! 😋

I recommend 1000%, we have booked again for this fall, the colors are incredible in Charlevoix at this time. 😀 Thank you and see you soon!
