Poetry transpires from his canvases: true painting beyond words, visual poetry, as it should be, it manifests itself in the specific domain of the visual imagination. Patya dominates the line, the stain of color, the trail, the stripe, the sequences of these pictorial elements always unpublished, renewed, the complete opposite of boredom. It has its own vocabulary, which brings us back to lyrical abstraction. In general, his light blues, meadow greens, blacks are memorable, but the dark colors appear here and there: there is generally a luminosity of arrangement and atmosphere that one takes away from this light but concentrated abstract painting. This visual thought is musical and vigorous.
