Bistro Des Bières Belges

The name of the place foreshadows the drink options, and might cast an actual shadow on the food options but don't presume the latter takes a second place to the former. We celebrated a family birthday here and every single item was showcasing the kitchen's know-how and care. Beer selections had uncommon items will worth a try. A few scotches also on the menu. Service was apparently short staffed that day but you could not have guessed it by the efficiency of our server.

I was expecting something like 3 Brasseurs, but it was not in the same league. Fine, original, perfectly prepared food, with a gigantic selection of beers. The place itself is a small labyrinth of rooms in various levels. There is a rather large terasse as well. The service was on the slightly long side of things, but nothing terrible. Plus, very kind and pleasant. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised.

4 years ago in the Google Maps asked me to do a review? All I remember is it's a place for beer and the beer was good. I think I had lunch there with a buddy named Anthony. And I think the service and the food was very decent and I have no idea if the place is still in business or not. It was a summer lunch stop for us to hang out a bit

I love variety and this place has lots of it. Belgian, European and local beers, lots of choices of main dishes, being mussels their specialty. I tried to take pictures of each plate but I forgot once the mussels came :p They were warm, juicy and really tasty. Cozy decor and excellent service. I will go back to try the other dishes.

Great selection of beer. The delirium tripel is so good. Service was very fast even though it was crowded. Food was excellent and portion were generous. Onion soup was not too salty like some are. I had the salmon tartar which was good.
