(August 10, 2020, 1:52 pm)I had the good fortune of stopping by here during my road trip across Quebec. The folks here were incredibly welcoming, and provided a sample of each type of syrup and sugar blocks they produce based on maple sap from each harvest, which varies in flavour and thickness over the seasons. Highly recommend it to anyone!

A great idea because we were very well received by very nice and competent people who explain everything ... from the beginning to the end, how is born the maple syrup! tasting on site and possibility of buying their production ... a treat!
(August 21, 2019, 12:01 am)Superb small maple grove near Saint Jean Port Joli. Presentation of the sap collection and maple syrup production methods, followed by a tasting of the various pure maple products. A perfect stop on the charming navigators route along the river.
(August 12, 2019, 10:54 pm)It was an educational and tasty experience at the sugar shack. They are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about maple syrup. The sampling of different products was well worth the trip.
