Very good service.
We were on our way from Toronto to Rimouski to sell merch at the Grand Fete Telus for the band The Standstills this past July (about 3 weeks ago). We usually stop in Riviere-du-Loup but were sidelined a bit early when a bearing on my water pump was screaming and my car stalled and the check engine light came on. It was a 1/2 hour after everything in the town closed so we had to stay the night and got the car into this garage at 8:15am the next day (Friday morning). Serge (if I recall correctly) told us to relax and sent us to a great little spot a few blocks away for coffee and a breakfast bite and said he’ll call in about 40-45 minutes with the diagnosis. Turns out the MAP sensor was causing the idle /stalling issues but wasn’t an immediate safety threat and the the water pump needed replacing. I didn’t want to deal with overheating on the highway with over 1000km to go so that was a no-brainer. He sourced the part, his son installed it and they had us on our way by noon!
At $67 a unit for labor this place is an easy win... but they also genuinely cared about getting us on our way as fast as possible and did so with courtesy and kindness.

Great service
Wonderful service. Our muffler broke on the way back to Toronto. We were directed to Garage Deschenes & Fils. They were able to fix the muffler and even an oil change within about an hour on a Friday afternoon. Thank you.
Super garage. The owners are friendly and the mechanics very competent.
