    Wonderful romantic getaway!

    Perfectly situated. Perfectly delightful.

To sum it up, perfect! We've stayed in two of the rooms here at the Augerbe, on more than one occasion. In fact, this is where we stay 90% of the time when we visit Ottawa/Gatineau!

Beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds on you are on a quiet street! Continental style breakfast in the morning - make your own coffee - plus you can fresh grind beans when you run out! Croissants, muffins, juices, yogurt, granola bars, fruit cups, cookies and more.

Isabelle, the Auberge's owner may not be there to make your meal, but all these extra touches for this breakfast buffet is wonderful - we can sleep in and dine in the morning at our leisure.

The Canadian Museum of History is across the street, next door is the Sports Museum (free entry) and two blocks away is Outaouais Tourism to help tourist discover the area.

The Auberge is also blocks away from great dining and even a micro brewery on the Gatineau side!

A nice walk across the bridge takes you right into downtown Ottawa - see National Art Gallery, Parliament, Byward Market and more!

Everything is walking distance, and a short stroll takes you to the water side for incredible view of the river and skyline!

What more do you need to know? Make your reservations NOW!

This was my first time staying at an inn. It's my wife's friend who owns it, so I'll have to say something good about it. Lol.
Anyways the location is great if your planning on going to Winterlude or to the Museum of History. There all in walking distance.
I stayed in the Kenya room which was very nice and clean. A nice small selection of complimentary items to eat and drink (tea, coffee, oatmeal cereal, muffins, cookies, and other snacks). Also free Wi-Fi.
There's only one bed in the Kenya room, so if your just two people it's fine, but if your a family of 3 or more you might have some issues.
For my first time staying at an inn (cause I mostly stayed in big fancy hotels) I would definitely recommend it. Staff is friendly and well organized.
Also this inn is linked with the Nordik Spa. So you get a discount at the Spa if you stay here.
