(August 3, 2018, 8:29 pm)A clean laundromat although I do get the odd machine that soils my clothes after a wash. It's has a change machine. It's a $1.50 a load and $0.50 for 10 minutes of dry time. I find only half the dryers work properly. The rest either run short on time or don't blow any hot air at all. So caveat emptor when it comes to drying your clothes. I can be a real lottery.

I've been an occasional patron for the past five years, and this place is a stable bet for getting the job done. Gas-powered dryers get your things completely dry, and the machines always work. Ring the bell if the odd coin gets gobbled or jammed (happened only 3 times in 5 years), and the owner or his son will come to your aid. The coin machine is a great addition, next to the pop machine, accepting loonies, toonies, $5, $10 & $20 bills.
The son speaks English, the father not so much. This is where I learned that a Loonie is called un piastre...and that the quebecoise didn't know that un piastre is called a Loonie in English lol
