Gatineau Park, situated in Quebec near the shores of the Ottawa River, is a paradise for the outdoor minded all year round, with hiking/biking trails, Nordic and alpine skiing and acres and acres of land for the adventurous to explore. Near Gatineau and across the river from Ottawa, the park enjoys proximity to population centres to attract a steady stream of visitors.
Not to be missed wonderful green space to be enjoyed all year long.
In the summer, enjoy the Meech Lake or Philippe Lake beaches.
In the fall, go for a walk in the colorful wood, in areas such as Pink Lake. Or go enjoy the view from the belvedere.
In winter, go cross-country skiing.
In the spring, go for a walk and enjoy nature coming back to life and get back on the wonderful bike paths.
Best park to live beside. So many path and if you go deep, you'll find amazing places.
Beautiful trails both in the summer/fall and in the winter. Perfect for snowshoeing.
Although the snowshoe trails are all shared with fat bikes... there are too many and some do not follow the rules!
