Easy access to Rte Verte 1 which is a really nice place to walk on a summer day.
Nice beach with lifeguards. Today is the last day they are working this year. Shallow... Good for small kids. Mostly sandy bottom with very few weeds, though a few rocks.
This is a very nice park with clean bathrooms, a good mix of shade and sunny areas, and a beautiful view of the river. If you are visiting with children, there is a nice play structure and basketball hoops. The only bad thing I have to say is that there is goose poop all over the beach which impedes its use. Not much you can do about that though!
Great park right beside the Ottawa river. Plenty of different activities can be enjoyed here. Playground, picnics, bird watching, hiking and many more.
I've been here primarily to meet up for bike rides. This place is very handy for that because it has a lovely parking lot and it's right on a bike path that will take you pretty much anywhere.
