We've stayed here several times upon returning from Europe, before taking the train home. The rooms are quiet, modern, well laid-out, well insulated, and comfortable.
A key attraction is that it is close to the airport. Some airport hotels at Trudeau are a long shuttle ride away.
To take the train one has to return to the airport and change shuttles, but the drivers communicate well with each other and do their best to coordinate the trips. It seems to work well.
Aloft is not your typical chain hotel. It has a much more modern and hip vibe going for it. That said, this is an airport hotel. I expect most people staying here are either coming or going to the airport as the area itself doesn't have much going for it (well, other than the airport). Room we stayed in had two queen beds and space was a bit tight. But the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and there was a large walk-in shower in the bathroom. There is a bar, a billiards table, and a pool on the ground level. Breakfast is not included.
Nice spot, a bit in the middle of nowhere but if you’re going to and from the airport hard to beat. I went there using public transportation which was a little dicy (you have to cross some pretty busy roads) but if you’re driving or taking a taxi it’s pretty straightforward. Has a frequent and quick shuttle to the terminals. Great weight room, and otherwise just like every other Aloft.
Typical airport hotel, clean and efficiently laid out rooms. You get here from the airport either by taxi or by shuttle, but the shuttle does many stops so it can take long. There is a restaurant which serves some warm food, but choices are limited, so best is to go to one of the other hotels for dinner. Breakfast was adequate.
