It doesn't look like your regular sushi restaurant. I look for freshness of the salmon and the rice consistency first
The salmon sashimi were by far the most freshed i have tasted. It was good size pieces. The rice on the nigiri wasn't fully sticking but the flavors in their sushi made up for that fact.
The sushi were very good. We ordered tempura shrimp sushi and it was good. No extra tempura that mask the flavor. Just perfect.
The only downside is if you are in a hurry, it might not be the best for you. The services was slow. It took 15 min to receive a soup. We ordered a second time and it took as long. I assume they were busy with their take out orders.
Some sushi place already have pre rolls, but the chef's seemed to make everything on the spot which might explain why it took longer.
Its my new sushi spot for when I'm in the east now.
Very tasty, I get their dragon eye rolls take outs often.
Great place, one of the best sushi spots I've been to in Montreal. Service is good as well i recommend the dragon eye and the california there.
We were very dissatisfied with anotber restaurant that rhymed with panda. We saw this little gem on the internet and decided to visit. Very awesome. Waitress very nice, food amazing and fresh, nice decor, reasonable price but the only downside was that there was a really loud crowd of people bit you can't really control that. 9 on 10!!!!
Very good sushi for a reasonable price. Pad Thai was also very good but dry. Spring rolls are small but tasty.
