Well priced, good collection exotic south east asian food/groceries.
Mura means cheap in tagalog and sell their items cheap :D
The best peace to buy Indonesian imported foods such as: gula Jawa, randang curry paste, Indonesian tea... Very good prices.
This place is a feel at home store to many Filipinos. The foods are from Southeast Asia and the store is located on what they called 'Filipino Town'. I really like the store because the price is reasonable and some items in this store is not available to other grocery stores. Here's my likes and dislikes in Depanneur Mura:
...
Likes:
1. Located near metro orange line stm. (Plamondon or Cote St. Catherine)
2. Good price.
3. Great variety of foods and stuffs.
4. Can pay cash and debit (not sure about credit).
5. The owner speaks basic Tagalog phrases (Filipino language).
6. There's a bus stop in front of the store.
7. There's a security camera.
8. The owner trusts buyer if they know it. I have experienced that, when they know the customer and their money is insufficient, they told them that they can pay it next time.
...
Dislikes:
1. Pretty small store. If there's a lot of people buying, it's hard to move around.
2. There's a price of a plastic bag. It's 10cents. It's free before but the quality of the bag is much better. I guess that's why it's 10cents now. I wish it could go back to the old plastic bag so that it would be free.
Overall, I recommend this store.
This place has a great selection of hard-to-find instant noodles, e.g. Indomie. Most of the food items are from Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines and Indonesia.
