  Best Italian sandwiches by far! Owner and staff are nice and welcoming. Love this cafe!

  Amazing Italian take out! Their sausage sandwich is one of my favorite sandwiches on earth. Worth the drive. Their cannoli are equal to anything in Litttle Italy. Everything there is shockingly good.

  I will admit I didn't try the food. I had an espresso which was okay. The server was nice and the atmosphere cozy. The customers seem to be regulars. I will be honest that out of all places I eat out at I am the pickiest about Italian, my native cuisine and being born and raised in Italy, our family made everything from scratch. I find Italian in Montreal could be really good and authentic or substandard and "Americanized" Italian. I found at Eatalie to be the latter based on looks alone. The pastries looked stale and commercialised. The mains were not appetizing looking. When we arrived and I looked at the items I didn't feel stimulated to try anything by the looks or smell. In all fairness we arrived close to closing and would like to be objective as possible so I will come back another time earlier during the day and hope to rewrite this review.

  Love the owner, great guy to chat with. The sandwiches are hearty and have some unique and delicious flavors that I haven't come across before. My wife and I love the spinach pastry - to us, it was almost dessert-like and we find ourselves craving it.
