Called after my garage door wouldn’t close. Paid the extra emergency rate $240 service call + a few parts to get the door fixed in the evening. They sent a polite and knowledgeable technician named Ryan. He replaced some of the rollers and greased the track. Working perfectly now

When I called the service department wanting to change my garage door opener for a new belt driven one, I was given an appointment for a Saturday morning between 8 and noon. When I asked the lady how much the door opener was she told me it ranged between 500 and 900 dollars. I asked for the price on a specific model and she told me not to worry the technician will have all models on the truck. I found this really curious. Don’t see how a technician would have all models of the door openers in the truck. So now here we are Saturday 1:00 PM and still no technician. When I called them back she said my appointment was cancelled. If I never canceled the appointment I asked her who cancelled. She told me it must have been your wife. Very curious how she assumes I was married. Would never use these joke of a company again. Guess I will go elsewhere and actually get some service.
Would have given 0 stars if I could.
All I would say is get someone who knows what they are doing to answer the phone in the device department. Clearly the women who took my call did not.

Dor Doctor really stepped up to the plate and righted the wrong. They were really generous after all the misunderstanding. Very classy company who has upheld their reputation in my book. Would definitely recommend!!!

Had a bad experience with another company. Called Dor Doctor, got a quote the same day and the work was finished the next day. Replaced parts were far better quality than what was there before. Johnny was professional, patient, knowledgeable and honest. Thanks for your help. Will be a return customer.
