Took my Trek Madone to this shop for a tune up because the other two "best" Trek retailers in the island (google them) were all booked for the week. What a freaking difference: after taking it for a 110km ride, I realized the other two shops did an outstandingly poor job even with the basics of brake and derailleur adjustments. The staff are cyclists themselves and you can notice the passion towards it when you talk to them. I rarely post reviews but this bike shop totally deserves it; I am never going back to the other shops and it is totally worth the trip even if other bike shops are closer to you.
The staff is always courteous and knowledgeable, and there is always a solution to any of my bike issues - what more can you ask for? Oh, and the mechanic team is top-notch.
This is the best bike shop in Montreal. If your looking for expert honest service you should call or drop in to see these folks. You won't regret it.
Brought my bike in for the standard tune-up and now it's running like new. I had the nicest service possible. When my representative realized that I did a lot of groceries with my bike he suggested a rack and saddle bags, (very reasonably priced) which he not only installed but reinstalled when I had difficulty removing them. A clever tweak on his part has made them a breeze for me to remove now. It's that kind of personalized service that will make me a repeat client. :)))
Pierre, Hugo, Juan Carlos, every time we come into this store they know us by name. The take their time to explain the options and help you make an informed decision. I feel like they actually value me as a customer. This is a quality the is sadly becoming more and more rare with retailers.
The shop is nice with a very good selection. It doesn't matter if you're looking for a tube or buying a bike the service is what will keep you coming back.
Their technicians have a lot of experience and always do a top notch job.
We have been to a lot of bike shops across Montreal and we keep coming back to Cycle Sports Robert. You should pay them a visit next time you need anything bike related.
I almost forgot...The fittings. Pierre does a fantastic job of fitting you to your bike. Whether it's a pedal alignment or a full 2+ hour fitting it is money well spent.
