Great salad choices and the hummus is pretty good. The meat is a little overpriced and not that great, better stick with vege options.
I got take out from Uber eats. It arrived perfectly fine to eat. I got the djaj and batata (shish taouk wrap and garlic potatoes). I feel there could be a but more kick and coriander to the potatoes but all in all I'm satisfied.
There are some great new updates to the cafe after it has moved across the street; ample seating space, table service and an extended menu. I love the cool relaxed vibe here and the salad copious plates. The new chicken skewers aren't as good as before because they're no longer made with pieces of meat but instead made with minced chicken mixed with other ingredients. Dommage! Omnivore is still one of my favorites in the area and I'll always recommend it to friends.
Overall good food and location, but it is small place. If you can't find a seat, you could take your food to go and eat outside, there's a nice park with many benches next to the restaurant.
I got the #1 combo (pictured at the bottom), which includes a sandwich, a salad and a delicious homemade lemonade. I ordered the Roma sandwich, which has beef in it. A bit spicy but very good. The salad is also tasty, although a bit oily. The lemonade has a mint flavour to it, I definitely recommed trying it.
Pictured above is my friend's order, the omnivore platter. It comes with slices of pita bread and hummus, served with grilled chicken and the same salad.
A delicious meal for the price of 13$, this shop should be a stop if you're around the area.
This spot is not only a visual treat on the outside, but also a culinary delight. The flavor and textures were varied and complementary. Really enjoyed the food and the service was also good.
