The owner is a passionate, kind man that clearly cares about the operation of his restaurant. He also owns Rasoi across the street, a tapas-style Indian restaurant. I was very happy he opened this restaurant, making his flavours accessible to those that cannot afford Rasoi. My favourite is the jerk chicken burger, the best burger under $10 I've ever had, any type of burger considered. He does not cheap out on the quality and quantity of ingredients used in the burger.
Waited 40 mins for just the jerk chicken sandwich. Asked for a mild one but when I got home it was extremely spicy, so I could not eat it. The sandwich alone was 11.50$... Other places make similar sandwiches for 8$. I give some stars for being nice. But masks were not on while making food...
Ordered from there, was not disappointed.
The jerk chicken rice bowl was fantastic, veggies were fresh and crunchy, the chicken was just insanely flavourful and the rice had the perfect texture. Their coco pogo is on a whole different level through, this pogo might legit be one of the best thing I ever ate. Also, their spicy habanero sauce is actually pretty spicy, which is nice.
This place does not deserve less than 5 stars. Its delicious. I'm so glad we discovered it recently! If you love hot sauce but can't find something hot enough their forest fire sauce is bomb! Everything on the menu is incredible. Hot tip: order extra jerk chicken and have it with eggs in a scramble the next morning:)
