For some things, the old is better than the new. And this restaurant is one of those things. There’s a reason why this modest place has been in business for so long.

At the end of the day, it’s about the food. No fanciness, no pizzazz, no BS, nothing to distract you from what you go there for in the first place: the food. The ingredients used and the prepared food stay true to the good old days, tried and true. Fries are soft and sweet but not overly starchy. They use Putter’s dill pickles. Enough said. Your order is always well packaged, with everything included without you having to ask. It’s a well-oiled (pardon the pun) operation. The meals I order always taste and smell as I remembered and expected them to — no surprises, which is a good thing.

Not a spot you would bring your new date to but a spot you can count on whenever you have a craving for authentic traditional dinner’s food. In the age of fusion-this and deluxe-that, this type of restaurant is a gem for the city.

The portions are giant and the food is amazing! Some of the service has attitude problems (rude waitress) but that doesn't take away from the fact that this place is a gem and most of the people in the building are very nice.

I Don’t quite understand all the hate on here the reviews are pretty horrible. Having ordered numerous times always great delivery time, great service, great food, I give you 5 stars. I sincerely wish you guys continued success. ????
