What a great organization!!
GRIS Montreal is a wonderful organization! Its volunteers give their time and generously share their personal experience to help young people feel seen, understood, valid... In my opinion, each school could benefit from a visit from beautiful people from GRIS. :)
I remember GRIS Montreal when two volunteers came to my high school class in 2014. A homosexual woman & a bisexual man. These two people have demonstrated by their experience that basically, being homosexual is not a difference, but a sexual orientation like all the others, where love reigns. A few years later, I am aware of the positive impact that GRIS has in schools. GRIS' method of intervention makes it possible to deconstruct prejudices on several levels and this is what makes the beauty of this marvelous organization!
An organization for which I am proud to volunteer. We are supported by exemplary people who have the cause at heart and want to make a difference. Seeing young people take an interest in our realities and giving them the opportunity to ask us questions to better understand us is, in my opinion, the best way to break down taboos and encourage open-mindedness.
An organization that does extraordinary work in our society. They open minds, reach young people effectively, present trained and ready volunteers, engage positively in the community. Keep up the great inspiring work
