Have always passed by, when I finally went in I was so impressed by their stock and variety, prices are as expected from an organic & healthy food store. Will visit again for speciality items and nuts!
Fabulous little warehouse. Friendly staff. Lots of Organic food. Huge bulk section. A must visit place and you will become a regular!
It's a great place to stock up on mostly plant based foods and environmentally friendly cleaning and body care products. Small section of organic fresh fruits and vegetables, lots of bulk buys (prepackaged). Prices are very good and because this is their warehouse location, there are little perks and warehouse discounts.
Normally very good service, but today May 14 2020, the 2 girls at the check-out were so engaged in personal conversation they completely ignored me and carried on with their conversation while ringing up my order. Rude. Also, no one in the store is taking precautions against Covid 19 and that creates a risk for clients. The 2 women stocking shelves are not wearing masks, making it impossible for me to navigate at the back of the store where the aisles are narrow. The girls at the check-out are not wearing masks or gloves either. There is a small area of plexiglass hung over the front counter, but nothing between the customer and staff while paying, which is a distance of approximately 2 feet. The recommended distance is at least 2 metres unless wearing a protective mask. It's not surprising Montreal North has the most Covid 19 cases in all of Canada!!!
Aliments Merci carries a wide variety of food items, including organic and bulk items. These range from coffees, teas, dried fruit, dried vegetables, flours, rice, cereal & grains, pastas, dried herbs, spices, Asian & Indian foods & seasonings, botanicals and much more.
This is their warehouse location; they also have four "store" locations around Montreal.
At times their customer service can be a bit curt, cold or rude, depending on the staff member. This is something they need to work on!
They have a website, however it is only available in French. They also have an online flyer available. Street parking is available out front.
