I truly enjoy dealing with this branch of Long and McQuade - been renting guitars, amps, recording gear from them - excellent service, purchased a Gibson Les Paul Standard - excellent service, lots of options, very welcoming and friendly - particularly enjoyed my dealings with Rene L. - store manager, Jean-Eric M. in the rental department and Francois (Frank) A. - finance guy for QC - Top Notch music Mecca!
Thank you to and Long & McQuade for helping me get a guitar during this Covid-19 pandemic. Matthew (Mathieu?) was very helpful over the phone and in person, all my questions were answered. The guitar was setup by one of their technicians. it plays great, I love it.
I'm so impressed with Long & McQuade! Went there to rent a piano and the service was excellent. Shout out to Guyot. I recommend this place for your one stop music shop and instrument rentals.
Hands down the staff is friendly. They know their stuff and talk to you in plain language not down to you like some other music stores know-it-alls.
You go in with questions and they will list out the pros and cons. If they don't know they can Google it! There's no shame in that!
Their selection is varied although I only buy guitar gear.
Great selection of instruments, friendly staff who will let you browse but be there when you need them. The man I spoke with was helpful and friendly. Prices were good, and there's a nice selection of clearance items for the thrifty. I didn't expect much going in, but I was impressed with what I thought would be another Archambault. I'll definitely be back in a few months after I have enough saved up to pick up one of those double cut Les Pauls I tried out.
