We wanted to try this new place in Fairview food court. I heard a lot of good reviews about the chicken. We took the share box combo, it came up to 45$ in total with 2 drinks, 2 sauces, white chicken and 2 fries. The wait was a bit long since they have to cook the chicken fresh. The chicken was nice and juicy, I really liked the flavour. I also really liked their presentation, it’s a fun cute colour. They at least gave a generous amount of sauce. I would maybe go back to try something else in the menu but we thought it was a pretty expensive for something sold at the food court, I don’t think it was worth 45$.
Food is very good! best fried chicken I’ve ever had that is made fresh on the spot! The wait is worth it! Super nice staff as well! Honestly people try to compare it to kfc, but don’t even try! These guys are on another level! Give it a try and get that honey mustard sauce! Ignore the negative reviews, because the food is so worth it! 👍👍👍
Really excited to have Olivia's in West island.
The flavor is as good as the original restaurant. My fried chicken was crispy, juicy and hot.
However, it is kind of expensive. 30$ for a box of chicken for 2/3 people but doesn't include fries, sides or drinks? That's not cheap.
The chicken are fried fresh which is nice but it means that you might wait long for your order.
Very disappointed. Was expecting so much better after I kept hearing how good it was and was really excited when I heard they had a location in West Island.
The chicken was cooked beautifully, the oil was definitely new , the portion was big and the chicken was very crispy which was great but the chicken had no flavor! The sauces were uninspired and generic and the sandwich just fell apart. The fries were forgettable. They also didn’t have a lot of the sauces or their famous drinks. I’ll wait a couple months before trying it again.
Bucky’s remain the king of fried chicken in Montreal! As for West Island , matjip, corilla or birdhouse are your best option for fried chicken.
