My Taylor dreadnought from the late 1990s had become unplayable—fret buzz, tonal conflation (probably inventing this term, but the point is that one fret played the tone of the adjacent fret). My truss rod adjustments did nothing. The body also had a minor but growing crack in the side.

Marc-André had quickly recognized that many of my frets were pitted from wear, which had been causing my problems. He filed the frets down perfectly and fixed the crack in the side of the body.
I picked up my guitar 2-3 weeks later. It looked great, clean; I brought it home to find it plays gorgeously and sounds lovely. Very reasonable prices too. Marc-André is a friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled man. I would go back.
