La Slice (Ville St-Laurent)

La Slice (cool name btw) is a new Pizza spot in Ville Saint-Laurent. Despite the slice in the name, menu only showed full pizzas. I placed an online order had it scheduled for a specific time for pickup. I'm pleased with the online experience as the website is intuitive and made the process easy. Will my order be there on time when I get there? Will the food be good?

When I got there, I was a little confused because there are no signs outside or any branding with "La Slice" on it. After a call, turns out, La Slice is inside "Au Coq" restaurant, likely same owner. Why are there any signs? This is likely due to competition restriction as there is a more established "Double Pizza" restaurant a few steps away. Nevertheless, my order was ready, well done. The reception/cashier was a bit lost but I will give it a pass as it's new restaurant and given the current labour shortage of experienced service staff, I believe this will improve with time.

I ordered the 12 inch all dressed pizza on special, a 12 wings meal, and the popcorn chicken meal (kids’). The pizza was good, I thought the crust can be a little more crunchier but overall we were satisfied. The meals (wings and popcorn chicken) were ok. I will come back for the pizzas. Tip for Pickup or Dine-in: La Slice restaurant is inside the "Au Coq" restaurant, saved you a phone call and confusion.

Awesome pizza! Friendly staff and super fast. Will definitely make it a regular on my take-out rotation.

Love the crust, sauce, toppings... literally everything about this pizza. It's well-balanced and tastes yummy. It's great pizza, no matter how you slice it!
