I was referred by my mechanic & i'm glad I went. Was smooth to deal with them and work done seems at this point to be really well done. year warranty too. I'd say i'd love to do business with them again, but that would mean my transmission would fail again... so i won't say that!

I was referred to Eastern Transmissions by my mechanic, who couldn't find anything wrong with my car, but suspected a possible transmission issue. Went for a test drive with Marcelo and discovered it was indeed a transmission issue. He took the time to candidly explain the costs, pros and cons of a new vs. used transmission, and suggested a new car as another option. He never once tried to push me towards replacing my transmission, and wouldn't even accept a tip. Marcelo is what my mother would call "a gentleman and a scholar." I tip my hat to Marcel and Eastern Transmission for the honest and helpful service, and would recommend them to anyone.
