Nice place to stop by especially during the cold weather. Lots of shops with regional items made by artisanal artist. There are a couple of restaurants there as well but when I went most of them were under renovation so I was unable to delve in deeper. Perhaps next time but definitely worth a visit
Great building, accommodating boutiques with art and artisanal items consistent with Montreal and Canada. Nice bistro-cafe available. They also hold exhibitions and other cultural events.
The Market makes a great place to duck out of the Sixteen Hundreds for a moment and enjoy a beer served in a modern bar or shop for a gift. It's a great place to warm up and use a proper loo with out some proprietor giving the third degree. The Cafe of Arts & Brewski understand the universal language of hospitality.

Local artists designed brand clothing, jewelry, crafts and souvenirs are sold in this heritage building. This is one of the few locations promoting Canadian made products. Old Montreal is beautifully preserved and this building is great example mixing old building with new products.
Well it's a block down from where I live so I got over the whole aura of it. It's ok to be honest, it has a great history for sure but it's underwhelming. The shops are well maintained and very organized. It's a tourist attraction so it has all those kind of shops. Souvenir and Canada made products are available if you want to grab few..
