Very clean room in a safe area.If you drive there are some free spots across the street. Breakfast is out of world. On top of it the welcome from JR is amazing. JR you are the best.

So good we've stayed here twice.

There's free street parking if you're driving, if not it's 5 mins from Frontenac station. The owner's personality is all over this place. He (Rene) is the highlight of any stay here. You realise he genuinely enjoys having people invade his home. If you need tips on what to do in the city he's full of advice.

Breakfast is another plus. You get what Rene feels like cooking that morning, but you're asked first. I had a cheese omelette that was far better than I can make them.

The room itself was a great size, had a TV and large bed. We also had a huge shared bathroom but I didn't see anybody else using it.

Highly recommended. If booking engines show the place as full, it's worth emailing Rene to check.

Nice, modern and clean room. Shower cabin in the room a bit odd but OK. The owner JR takes really good care of you. Enthusiastic, got plenty of knowledge about what to do and where to go.
Location a bit off center, but the Metro is only three blocks away.

The owner, Rene, is wonderful, and friendly, and a great cook. He had me in stitches with his stories about life as a boy in the neighborhood. The rooms are charming, the bed very comfortable, and the other accommodations are well worth the price. This is close to the metro, so seeing Montreal on foot is great, and it is close to downtown, so driving anywhere is easy. You will enjoy this!
