This was such a beautiful church. The staff were super nice and the priest even blessed the bracelet I bought from their shop. If I lived near by I would definitely visit more often. It is a super welcoming place and I would 10/10 recommend to visit if you come to Montreal.
Fantastic church. It is very big and sumptuous. You can visit this church for free. There are 13 very nice and detailed sculptures just over the entrance gate which represents Jesus and 12 Apostles. They recommend you to walk only right and left corridors not the middle one as people come here to pray. So you wont disturb them.
I recently began working across the street at the CIBC building and in the early evening after work i pass this historic, breathtaking church. The sound of church bells create a beautiful , surreal atmosphere in the heart of the city especially during the Christmas season. It makes me stop and appreciate life. I feel like i am in a classic Christmas movie. I hope the church continues with this tradition. I am not a practicing catholic but i would like to attend a service. Build it and they will come!
Big and beautiful church! I would recommend visiting. Will the quiet relaxing stillness that comes with all churches, I like reflecting on Mary Queen of the world as a cosmopolitan place like Canada has so much humanity, togetherness and joy. Very beautiful.
Also, check out the gift shop on the right, got some unique souvenirs.
This place is really awesome. See the famous saints on top of the Cathedral. You will be amazed who they are. Kindly read the info before you enter. This will give you an idea why this Basilica has been build. Magnificent!
