After covid, it seems take out is the only option.

Although I would prefer to eat in-place, it is still amazing to eat the rice with their sauce.

Enjoyable neighbor eatery. Famous for the calamari and I can see why. Service staff made us feel welcome. Obviously a popular spot, bustling mid afternoon on a Friday. Souvlaki was tasty, not necessarily remarkable. Portions are more than ample. Seating is tight.

It's still good but used to be better. Prices are fair. To tell you the truth, my one and only reason for eating here are the calamari. They make them better here than any of the top restaurants in Montreal. 5/5 for Calamari. 3/5 other food items.

Where to even start? This restaurant is simply one of the best restaurants in Montreal. Service? A! Portion size? A! Food quality? A+!
The portions are huge and the quality of food is simply spectacular with the favorites being the calamari and lamb chops.
Sure you might have to wait for 10 to 30 minutes in line in order to get a table and they only accept cash, but at the end it's all worth it. The prices are decent but even if they weren't, it's a good value for your money. Once you have great service, great food and a good time, paying for it all really doesn't affect you much, you do it gladly.

Always a pleasure whenever we visit Marven's. Excellent food and service each time. Try out their home wine too! Cash only and they don't take reservation so be prepared to wait in line during peak hours!
