Garderie K.I.D.S. Westmount

My son has been at Kids Westmount for two years. He is super happy and learns many things. The food is great. The teachers are amazing. They really love, take care of, and teach children. All teachers and staffs know every student. Huge kudos to Kathy for organizing/running this daycare amazingly. I think this is the best daycare in Montreal/Westmount.

P/S: We moved to Westmount from another neighbourhood because of this daycare.

Amazing teachers and very nice and warm environment for the kids and families. I highly recommend this daycare, my kids were really happy and learn a lot. The skating program they have during the winter is great!

Our son attended in KIDS Westmount 2 for two years while my husband and I were pursuing our postgraduate training at that time in Montreal.

This daycare was and still is like a “home away from home” for our son. The time he spent there was filled with wonderful exceptional teachers, educators, and staff. Our son was very happy there. The daycare has so much care on the kids in many aspects of a child’s well being, including emotional, psychological, physical, cognitive, motor and many more aspects.

One of the many things that I admire is how they help the children and show them the tools of how to start being independent at a very young age, which has helped us a lot at home. Our son LOVED the daily meals cooked healthy food choices they made by Ajwa (the kind and wonderful person who makes the food at the daycare when our son attended there at the time).

The activities they provide are fun, educational, and has SO much variety compared to other daycares I have to say. Activities include daily outside play time, visiting the public library once a week, indoor structured learning with different coaches/ educators for safety tips for example on why wearing a helmet is important, fire drills, music, yoga, dancing, and actually one the most things we found amazing was the ice skating trips they take the kids to at the Westmount recreational center, to me this was really impressive, with the educators and teachers being the one who taught them skating at this young age! Our son absolutely LOVED it.

Our son had the great opportunity to be in the classes of different teachers depending on his age, he started in Lilly and Fahima‘s class who are amazing teachers and educators and helped our son feel like home at their class, then as he got older he moved to Beatriz’s class, she had a wonderful way with children and our son was very happy in her class and always super excited for the next day, he then moved to Denise, Claudia, and Stephanie’s class who are all lovely educators and teachers as well. Our son truly loves each and every one of his educators and teachers as well as all the staff. His last year was concluded with a beautiful rehearsed graduation show that was marvelous and all the kids were so happy and excited!

Last but not least, I would like to give special thanks to Kathy, KIDS Westmount Director, who is just an amazing person! She is passionate, kind, honest, trusted, and a lovely person with great communication skills with parents and the kids. Our son loved to pass by her office every time he was leaving the daycare at the end of the day to give her a hug and say goodbye.

Us as parents, we are thankful to all the staff at KIDS who gave our son an unforgettable experience and truly recommend this daycare in Montreal based on all this personal experience with our son during his time there.

My daughter attended this daycare from age 18 months until she started kindergarten. It is THE BEST. It is a good and clean facility. The food is healthy and the children really like it. The teachers are fantastic: they are educated in early childhood education, caring and compassionate, they communicate well with parents and they plan great activities and projects for the children. They also have great specialist teachers, e.g. music, cooking, yoga. It is very well organized by the wonderful director Kathy. And they really go above and beyond with things like field trips, a weekly skating program for older children, a graduation performance at the end of the final year etc... I recommend this daycare without reservation.

I can only say extremely positive things of KIDS Westmount. I have a bit of experience with daycares, as our son changed a few for various reasons. When we arrived at KIDS, we were amazed by the professionalism of all the staff. Kathy, the Director, is extremely professional, helpful and caring. Our teachers, Fahima and Lily were extremely sweet, caring, engaging. Our son learned so much at KIDS, he was happy every day to go to school, cared for, they did a lot of interesting activities and field trips. A Big Thank you to all the KIDS Staff for working so hard for our children and always with a smile on their faces!
