Phyto-Performance Nutrition

I am a mom of 2 who struggled for many years with the yo-yo dieting. I was certain that by making the right food choice, I would be healthy and be able to lose weight. Still the weight kept on being put on. My 10 years son ( athlete who plays a lot of hockey ) came up to me and asked me to make better food choices. he wanted to be vegan, vegetarian, not to eat any process food anymore. He had a lot of ideas and was a bit mixed up with all the terms he kept hearing about. I felt pretty overwhelmed with this sudden change of lifestyle he wanted and did not know what to feed him anymore to make sure he was getting all the nutrients he needed as a growing boy.

I am not sure how I came across Phyto-Nutrition's website but me and my son had our visit. Patrick is so knowledgeable and very professional. he asked my son to run him through his current meals and go to snacks. We demystified certain foods that we thought were bad and that are in fact good. We learnt about calories and how to read a food label. He gave my son quite a few choices of meals and snacks that are very healthy options for him. From the milk we drink, to which bread we should buy. Most of the items were at Costco go figure. The smallest changes can make the biggest difference in the end. It didn't take me long to jump on the band wagon.

We left the visit empowered and ready to make the change. We empty the cupboard/fridge of the "bad" food and went on a grocery run. It's been a few weeks already and we are still going strong and discovering plenty of new good food. My kids keep saying ohhh this taste so much better. With the amount of eating disorder you hear about, I am happy to have given my children the tools to be in control of their weight at such a young age. Hipefully they won't have to deals with what I went through. My teenage daughter got the fever and also went to see Patrick and shed a few pounds herself. There is nothing more satisfying as a parent to know you are feeding your children great meals and to see them going to the kitchen and making themselves something healthy to eat and loving it!

I firmly believe that every family should have a short seminar about the matter. Patrick is a naturopath and most insurance provides for a certain amount a year for that service. It's almost free, why not!!!

I am at the beginning of my journey but I do feel confident that I will be able to reach my goal (i already lost 10 pounds). I am the a follow-up plan. It's great to have Patrick to check on me and to be accountable to someone. He's also always an email away for questions or which items could i replace this and that etc... Everything works out so much better when you have a clear plan to follow :) Thanks again Patrick from the whole family!
