Great collection of fruits and veggies grown on the MacDonald campus farm. The 20$ baskets on Friday are a big draw.
Best fruits and vegetables on the island (if not world). Very fresh. Very tasty.
You will get great organic vegetables and they are sometimes large for a fraction of the price elsewhere.
Great source for plants, veggies and herbs. They also have a market and seasonal garlic. I buy most of my plants for my garden from here and I stop by during the season for some fresh vegetables. Great fresh produce at reasonable prices.
First of all, there was the nicest lady working the front counter. The selection is limited but the produce is the best I've tried in Montreal. I've had 'fresh from the garden' before but their stuff is not only fresh but the quality surprises anyone that tastes it. Supermarket produce is several levels below this.
I had a honeycrisp? apple, maybe the best apple I've tried. If the green beans were any more vibrant they would be literally glowing. Cherry tomatoes were perfect. I'd say 'taste like candy' but actually they were better than that because they weren't cloyingly sweet.
