I purchased a super clean little 2004 Toyota Echo from Automobiles Real Parent last December, although it did say "no guarantee of proper operation", and although I haven't had it "inspected" anywhere else, m relying on what I was told that this vehicle had been inspected.
I did not know that I would have to pay + or - thousand dollars to change the rack. I would have liked to know that this part (quite expensive thank you) was damaged enough to have to change it in a short time.
Finally, yes, Mr. Lebel is a very nice salesman. I was able to have 4 winter wheels with my purchase. But I will know in the future that it is better to have a used vehicle inspected elsewhere before a purchase. It will probably cost between $60.00 and $100.00 but there will be no "bad surprises" and after the fact, we can always think about buying said car...or not!
