Friendly staffs. Good exhibitions
We visited this center on July 15. There is an entrance fee and free parking. The ticket allows you to visit the other centers, but it must be on the same day. In this center you will find information about aquatic life and the Lawrence River. We didn't see any whales. Only a resting seal on the rocks.
Awesome place. We watched the whale from there. The Rock beside the water created a soothing environment. You can sit here for the entire day and enjoy the sea life
I had 0 expectations for this locations and ended up having a great time. I did not get any tickets prior, I simply showed up. The lady at the ticket booth was a delight, she provided me with all the information for this location and proceeded to explain to me that the daily ticket also included 2 other locations ( Cap de Bon-Desir & Pointe-Noire Interpretation and Observation Center ). Since this is a daily ticket, if you want to visit all 3 locations, then I suggest arriving early, if not, enjoy your time here( I spent more time here than Bon Desir ). After visiting, the very informative and interactive museum, I went to sit on the rocks to enjoy the gorgeous views and saw some whales & seals. People also go diving there however i'm not sure how it works in terms of pricing and who can dive therefore, if you are interested, you should look into it.
If you’re lucky you’ll see some whales from ashore but be prepared to spend a few hours as they’re on their own schedule. Not yours. Make it a picnic. Bring mats and chairs. Windbreaker. You know the deal.
